Dupes

Not every dupe listed is enabled at all times. Select an item for instructions.

Anvil

Unlocks at 45 min played

Duplicates the item you take out of an anvil as the anvil breaks.

  1. Combine or rename items in an anvil as normal.
  2. Keep using a damaged anvil until it is about to break.
  3. Take the result on the same use the anvil breaks: you keep the item and get a copy.

Fishing Rod

Unlocks at 20 hrs played

Duplicates an item you hook with a fishing rod.

  1. Drop the item you want to dupe on the ground.
  2. Cast so the hook lands on the dropped item.
  3. Reel it in to get the item plus a copy. (15s cooldown.)

Zombie

Unlocks at 35 hrs played

Duplicates an item a zombie has picked up.

  1. Drop an item next to a zombie so it picks it up and holds it.
  2. Kill the zombie.
  3. It drops the held item, duplicated.

Donkey & Boat

Unlocks at 4 days played

Duplicates the inventory of a chest-carrying donkey or mule.

  1. Load a chested donkey/mule with items, then get in a vehicle: a boat, a minecart, or any mount.
  2. Open the donkey's inventory. Nothing happens for about 2 seconds, then it opens on its own.
  3. Get at least 6 blocks away and let the inventory close. A copy of the chest opens in its place.
  4. Leave that window open and travel 128 blocks from where you opened the donkey. You have to make the trip yourself. Hauling the donkey along or sending it through a portal does not count.
  5. Take the items. The copy stays locked until you have travelled far enough, and closing it early or changing dimension loses it.

Stonecutter

Unlocks at 6 days played

Duplicates the cut result from a stonecutter.

  1. Put a block in a stonecutter and pick a recipe.
  2. Take the cut result from the output slot.
  3. A bonus copy drops at your feet. (2s cooldown, up to one stack per take.)

Chiseled Bookshelf

Unlocks at 10 days played

Duplicates books stored in a chiseled bookshelf.

  1. Put your books into a chiseled bookshelf.
  2. Pull the books back out.
  3. Break the bookshelf within the window and the books drop duplicated. (Up to 6 books per dupe.)

Trial Vault

Unlocks at 14 days played

Duplicates the loot a trial-chamber vault ejects.

  1. Insert your trial key into a vault.
  2. Right-click the vault again within a few ticks (a fast double-tap).
  3. Land the double-tap and the ejected loot is duplicated, popping out at the vault.

Container Desync

Unlocks at 21 days played

Duplicates any item from a chest, barrel, shulker box, or ender chest.

  1. Open the container and pick an item up onto your cursor (a normal click, not shift-click).
  2. Close the container within ~2 ticks while the item is still on your cursor.
  3. Your original drops on the floor and a copy lands in your inventory.

Relog

Voter

Duplicates a dropped item across a logout.

  1. Drop the item you want to dupe.
  2. Log out within 10 seconds.
  3. Log back in and a duplicate is added to your inventory. (30s cooldown.)

Hopper Desync

Old Player or voter

Duplicates items you drop into a piston-driven hopper contraption.

  1. Build a hopper feeding a container, with a piston clock pulsing next to the hopper.
  2. Drop an item or stack so the hopper sucks it up.
  3. As the hopper transfers those items out, each transfer spits out a duplicate, capped at how much you dropped.
